Armando Giro becomes Chief Executive. From a simple manufacturer of lamps, items and equipment for the industry, Helios becomes more and more a solution provider and partner of many important national and international clients.
The establishment Helios Quartz America, Shenyang Helios Tech and Helios Quartz Asia,logistics centers and exclusive distributors in the US, Chinese and Asian market, gives a global structure to Helios Quartz Group.
Armando invests in the creation of new products, in the modernizing of old technologies and in the installation of new production lines in the new plant based in Cambiago, Italy.
Virginia Giro (Armando Jr. sister) moves to China to monitor production and quality control.
Helios Italquartz registers all its trademarks and logos worldwide.
Helios Italquartz gets the TUV ISO:9001 Certification.
Armando Jr. oversees a the joint venture with a Chinese partner for the production of raw material and becomes Operations Manager in China.
Helios opens a commercial branch office in Mexico City, managed by Luigi Gastaldo, to develop the North and South American markets.
Thanks to the management of Enrico and the valuable contribution of Luigi Gastaldo (partner and Sales Manager) Helios increases presence in the international market and obtains the C.E.I. Certification.
Enrico Giro becomes the Chief Executive of the company. Helios begins the process of International integration and sales begin to steadily grow.
Enrico and Silvia Giro (son and daughter of Armando) takes over the administration and management of the company.
Helios Rays S.r.l. and Italquartz SpA (subsidiary company) are merged and become Helios Italquartz.
During the 40’s Actinia is renamed to Helios Rays S.r.l.
The history of Helios Quartz Group, deeply linked to the Giro family, bagins in 1939, when Armando Giro takes over Actinia, a company specialized in the manufacturing of infrared and ultraviolet lamps.
